Thanks phonesrus, so If I have only 1 attendant and she wants to go for a break how do I transfer calls to a VDN, extension, etc?For now I will play around with the night service to solve the requirement (I will do this checking the time) but I would like to understand how incomming calls works and what options do I have when managing the console.Right now I have an incomming VDN/vector and I am transferring calls to 1040 that is set as LDN. So everycall that I do to 1040 are sent to the attendant console, is there any other way to do it?Thanks for your answer, phonesrus I didn't found what you said on the manual and makes things more clear.RegardsRichard RE: Pos-busy button at Attendant Console 302 (Vendor) 15 Aug 05 12:34. There are a couple of alternatives. The easiest to manage is set up a hunt group with no members, define the night destination as your current night destination.

Set up a coverage path for the hunt group with a first position a cover answer group containing one or more stations that can reliably answer the calls, the second position can be the current night destination or a voice mail box or other destination just for insurance in case no one answers the call. Then put a huntNS button on the console for the hunt group you added. If both console and huntNS are lit, the calls go to the night destination, if the operator needs to be away for a period then press console night and pos busy and leave the huntNS dark. Replace your current LDN night destination with the new hunt group pilot number you created. A bit of extra attention is required by the operator, but I think this will be the most reliable and understandable way to do it. As always, test it before implementation. There is a FAQ on a second night button sceneario that you might want to take a look at also.
